Zemun-based Silbo takes over Paracinka for EUR 1.4 million
(Paracinka)
Zemun-based Silbo d.o.o. has announced a bid for the takeover of the confectionery company Paracinka from Paracin at the price of RSD 950 per share. The bidder intends to acquire maximum 100 percent and not less than 51 percent of shares. The bid will be open until September 5th.
With the offered price of RSD 950 per share, the market capitalization of Paracinka amounts to RSD 138.5 million (EUR 1.36 million). Last year Paracinka registered a business revenue of RSD 328.7 million, which is nearly identical to the revenue in 2009, while the final result was a loss amounting to RSD 28.2 million.
On the other hand, Silbo, which is engaged in internal and external trade activities, registered a business revenue of RSD 2.6 billion last year, while its net profit amounted to somewhat less than RSD 72 million. Silbo became known to broader public when it recently sold Kragujevac-based Mladost dairy to the company Meggle, but the value of that transaction has not been revealed.
