Oerlikon arriving to Serbia and bringing most modern innovative technology of PVD coatings

The signing of the agreement on the construction and lease of the hall for the Swiss group Oerlikon in the technology park UNIOR Components in Kragujevac has made the cooperation of these two companies official.

A global leader in the domain of surface protection, which operates in 38 countries of the world, is bringing the most modern innovative technology of PVD coatings to these areas, the kind of which has not been directly available in the market so far.

The arrival of Oerlikon to Serbia is especially important for all tool manufacturers in the region and companies from the metalworking sector, but also for companies from the automotive and aviation industries, which have so far been meeting their needs regarding coatings abroad, and from mid-2025, they will be able to do so in Kragujevac.

Within the technology park UNIOR Components, a hall of 1,200 square meters for the needs of Oerlikon will be built.

UNIOR Components will invest EUR 1.2 million in this project. On the other hand, by arriving to the market of Serbia, but also the former Yugoslavia, Oerlikon will invest a considerable sum of money through the most modern equipment.
