Vucic: We are not selling EPS, we will buy other power companies in the region

Yesterday, during his campaign trip to Lazarevac, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that PE Elektorprivreda Srbije (EPS) will not be sold, and that there is an intention to purchase other power companies in the region.

- It does not occur to us to sell EPS. We want to buy throughout the region, and to annex other power companies to Serbia - said Vucic at the pre-election meeting of the coalition around the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in Lazarevac, Beta reported.

He said that, as far as the mining basin of Kolubara is concerned, "not only is there is no decision to lay off workers", but within the next three years, a thousand people will be employed annually.

Addressing the gathered citizens, he added that he "talked with a big and powerful" university which he wants to bring to Serbia, but he did not specify which one.
