DHL to build a distribution center on over 6.000 m2 at the Belgrade airport (PHOTO)

The construction of a terminal distribution center for air shipments with an adjacent administrative logistics service is planned at Nikola Tesla Airport, as seen on the urban project for which the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction announced a public presentation. Although the company Jat Tehnika, owned by the Avia Prime group, is mentioned as the investor of this project, one can clearly see from the conceptual design that it is, in fact, a distribution center of the German company DHL.

As the portal Zamaaero wrote, in September last year, DHL attended meetings in Belgrade with Avia Prime, i.e. Jat Tehnika. According to unofficial information, the topic of the meetings was the sale of the Jat Tehnika plot at the airport, where DHL would build a distribution center.


The project includes the construction of a facility for the acceptance, sorting and delivery of shipments transported by air transport. The facility will consist of a hall for receiving, sorting and delivering shipments, an administrative part and conveyor belts.
