Chinese company interested in founding Science-Technology Incubation Center in Serbia

The desire for the cooperation with Serbia to continue in the field of science by founding a new Science-Technology Incubation Center which would enable various cooperations in technology and science was expressed by the president of the Management Board of Shandong International, Zhuang Yong, who met with the minister of science, technological development and innovations of Serbia, Jelena Begovic.

– If we founded an incubation center with your ministry, various inventions and new technologies from China could reach Serbia more easily, and Serbian inventions would also reach China more easily – Yong concluded and proposed the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovations of Serbia and the company Shandong.

Both sides expressed a readiness to continue collaborating and an openness toward further negotiations regarding the proposed forms of cooperation and said that they would have further talks about the presented propositions, it is said on the ministry’s website.

China Shandong International is a state company headquartered in the Chinese province of Shandong, with a registered capital of 45.9 billion yuan and total assets of over a trillion yuan, with an annual income of USD 9.1 billion and a workforce of over 70,000 employees.

The branch office of Shandong in Serbia has a team of over 150 permanent employees and has successfully realized over 10 important projects. Among them are highway E-763, the Chinese Cultural Center in Belgrade, the central Valjevo highway and the Danube Corridor.
