Successful presentation of Serbian manufacturers of wine and natural fruit brandies at PROWEIN Fair in Germany - contract signed on export worth about 1m EUR

At the international fair of wine and alcoholic drinks PROWEIN, which was held in Dueseldorf from March 26 to 28, Serbia had its stand for the first time. On that occasion, nine companies from Serbia represented their products - three wine manufacturers and six manufacturers of natural fruit brandies. Participation of our food manufacturers at the international fairs is organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia.

Jasna Matić, director of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA ) pointed to the success of the presentation of Serbian food manufacturers at PROWEIN Fair in Germany and illustrated that by the fact that our companies realized over 450 contacts and signed contracts on seven export deals and 60 arrangements for sending of samples. There were also some offers for joint-venture arrangements. It is estimated that the export in the following season, thanks to the effects of the Fair in Dueseldorf, will be worth about 1 million EUR.
