Construction of vacation site – In the future, sand excavation location to feature lake, courts, promenades, bicycle lane…

In the coming years, the City of Krusevac might get a vacation site near the Morava Corridor, as reported by TV Plus Krusevac. The idea is to form a lake with the accompanying infrastructure in the sand excavation location. That area would be transformed into a vacation site with numerous recreational and other features, such as beaches, promenades, bicycle lanes and sports courts.

The realization of this project will depend on the dynamics of the completion of the Morava Corridor and additional feasibility studies. The idea is for that space, once developed, to be used for holidays, such as May 1, but also for rest and recreation on weekends.

As the City of Krusevac told the TV station, the project is under development and talks are ongoing in order to determine what the city needs to do in order for the concrete implementation of the project to start.

According to those in charge, the idea is for the project to secure a new space for recreation, and in addition to that, its implementation is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy through the development of tourism.
