Looking for contractor for construction of infrastructure of international passenger terminal in Sremski Karlovci

The Port Governance Agency has opened the tender for the construction of infrastructure at the international passenger terminal in Sremski Karlovci.

As reminded in the invitation, the strategy of the development of water transport of the Republic of Serbia from 2015 to 2025 plans an international passenger terminal in Sremski Karlovci. In line with that, the Government of Serbia adopted the Decree on determining the port area of the international passenger terminal in Sremski Karlovci in early 2017.

The plan is for the international passenger terminal to be built as a floating structure for the boarding and disembarking of passengers, located on the right bank of the Danube.

– The international passenger terminal in Sremski Karlovci will serve for the docking of passenger ships of a length up to 135 meters, in international and local traffic, as well as a safe movement of passengers from the ship to the pontoon and farther to the coast. The selected contractor will also have the obligation of reconstructing and equipping the existing pontoon and building the superstructure, building and setting up the access bridge and building a system of connections of the pontoon and other structures (equipment) for a safe docking of the ships – the documentation clarifies.

The superstructure, as pointed out, will be built so as to fulfill the function and accommodation of all the necessary services for the needs of an unobstructed functioning of the international passenger terminal. Within the superstructure, several functional units stand out, each of which has a separate entrance.

The full superstructure, as well as the pedestrian connections around all the formed functional units, will be covered with a single canopy, and the body of the pontoon will feature a reservoir for the purpose of collecting waste/sanitary waters which are generated during the exploitation of the terminal.

The deadline for the execution of all the works, as pointed out, is 12 months from the date of the signing of the agreement.

The estimated value of the job is RSD 33,333,333 without the VAT.

The bids may be submitted by June 27.
