The PE Ski Resorts of Serbia has submitted to the Ministry of Environmental Protection the request for deciding on the necessity of an environmental impact assessment of the project of the construction of an apartment hotel in the area of the Nature Park Zlatibor.

The request was prepared by ECOlogica URBO from Kragujevac.

This is the location of the Ski Center Tornik. The subject of the environmental impact assessment is the project which pertains to the construction of an apartment hotel facility with two basement levels and four floors (including the ground floor and the loft), with a total gross area of 7,671.71 m2. The façade finish is a combination of stone and wood, as a ventilating façade system.

The plan includes the construction of a reception hall with a lobby, a ski shop, a restaurant, a bar, a children’s playroom, a spa center with an indoor pool, an accommodation block with 65 accommodation units (32 rooms and 33 apartments) and an underground garage with 29 parking spaces.

The accommodation block is planned on a part of the ground floor level, as well as on all the aboveground levels of the building. The accommodation units have the following floor areas: rooms 24.5 m2, whereas apartments vary between 47-165 m2.

All the features meant for the guests are connected by single vertical connections – a staircase and three passenger elevators.

The preliminary design, which was prepared by Elkoms from Belgrade, says that the investor in the project is the PE Ski Resorts of Serbia and that the project is financed by REA Central d.o.o.
