Government interested in opening study programs of Bocconi University in Serbia

The Government of Serbia is interested in including Italian faculties in the local higher education and those initiatives will be given the government’s full support, considering that investments in education are the best investments in the future, the prime minister, Milos Vucevic, emphasized during his talks with representatives of Bocconi University from Milan about cooperation and the opening of study programs in Serbia.

Vucevic emphasized that Bocconi University was one of the most influential universities in Europe with a large number of various modern programs, providing wide perspectives for academic development. The prime minister emphasized that the government’s goal was to provide the students with the opportunity to earn a degree at one of the most recognized European faculties, with Bocconi certainly being among them, while studying in their own country.

Vucevic said that opening the possibility of studying at one of the prestigious European faculties in Serbia would be an excellent opportunity for students from the region as well.

The rector of Bocconi University, Francesco Billari, emphasized that Serbia was recognized as a country which looked to the future, politically, economically and in every other way.

Talking about the importance of this education institution, Billari pointed out that, annually, thousand of students from the whole Europe applied, showing the prestigious reputation of that university among students.
