Formation of a consortium for privatization of the boxit mine Niksic and Coal mine Pljevlja

A tender comission for privatization of the Niksic boxit mine and Pljevlja coal mine gave its approval to the formation of a consortium in order to receive quality and content offers, after agreeing that 6 out of 10 participants have qualified for the participation at the tender.

The companies which have qualified are: the Russian "Belon", Czech energetic company CEZ, then "EN + group limited", HSE, cosnortium PPC and Contour Global LLC, as well as Verbund.

The deadline for giving in comitting offers is prolonged till June, 1st, 2006, and it was announced by PRA - official agency for public relations of the Council for privatization of the Government of Montenegro.
