Technical control over the project documentation for the construction of the Borca-Zrenjanin highway section is the next step - Corridors of Serbia have issued a tender

Corridors of Serbia announced a tender for the technical control of project documentation for the implementation of the Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad highway construction project (section 1 from Borca to Zrenjanin).

The technical control, as can be seen, refers to the project documentation for five phases, i.e. five subdivisions from kilometre zero to roughly 67th kilometre.

As mentioned in the documentation, the route of the highway Belgrade (Ovca)-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad is a branch of the primary road network of Serbia, which should speed up the existing long-distance traffic on the main road from Belgrade to Zrenjanin and Novi Sad. In Serbia's road network system, this road direction represents the basic connection in the north-south direction, which connects Vojvodina and Belgrade, the central and the northern parts of Serbia.

The framework commercial contract on the design and execution of works on the Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad highway was concluded between the Government of Serbia and China Shandong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group, Ltd. The framework commercial contract foresees the phased implementation of the project, whereby each of the mentioned sections constitutes one or more separate phases.

The estimated value of the purchase is RSD 135 million without VAT.

The deadline for submitting offers is September 2.
