Toyota presents Pixis - Vehicle named after Serbian football ace Dragan Stojkovic Piksi
The world's leading automaker, Japan's Toyota, has revealed its new model - Pixis, named after Dragan Stojkovic Piksi, the famous football player from Nis.
That is another proof that Dragan Stojkovic Piksi is seen almost as a deity in Japan.
This "Piksimobile" is developed in collaboration with the factory Daihatsu, the Belgrade media report.
- Toyota has produced a new model named Pixis. They say they did it because of the latest title I won, as well as because of everything I've built in the success of the football club Nagoya as a player and as a man - Piksi told Vecernje Novosti daily.
A stadium in Nagoya is going to be named after Piksi to honor this football player from Serbia.
According to the data available on the website latestcar.us, this car features 660cc engine which is available in both naturally-aspirated and turbocharged guise.
Front wheel drive is standard, but higher-end models have four-wheel drive and an eco-IDLE start/stop system which enables the car to return 25.5 km/l (60 mpg US / 3.9 L/100km) in the 10-15 test cycle!
Dragan Stojkovic was born in Nis in 1965. He started his football career at Radnicki from Nis. During his career, he played for Crvena Zvezda (Red Star), Olympic from Marseille, Verona, and Nagoya.
