Agreement with Russia on gas deliveries might be extended as soon as September

Kobyakov said that, at the meeting, he had talked to Vulin about the question of extending the gas agreement between the countries.
“We will extend [the agreement with Serbia on the delivery of energy sources]. The Russian Energy Week is being held soon,” Kobyakov said for Sputnik, commenting on the possibility of the continuation of the deliveries of Russian gas to Serbia.
As he specified, the agreement on the extension of the deliveries of gas to Serbia might be signed during September.
– I am sure that the agreement will be signed before the Russian Economic Week – pointed out Kobyakov.
The International Forum “Russian Energy Week 2024” will be held in Moscow from September 26-28. The central topic of the event will be “Energy cooperation in a multipolar world”.
The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, said during the meeting with the deputy prime minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, on September 4 that he intended to talk about the agreements on the deliveries of gas to Serbia, which expire in March 2025, reports Sputnik.
