Serial production of car tires officially begins at Linglong

At the Chinese factory Linglong in Zrenjanin, the serial production of car tires began today. The construction of the Linglong factory began in March 2019, and it will produce 13 million tires a year. The value of the investment exceeds USD 1 billion.

In addition to subsidies of EUR 75.8 million the state also gave land worth EUR 7.6 million to Linglong.

The City of Zrenjanin invested RSD 448 million in the water supply and sewer infrastructure of the factory and another RSD 400 million in the demining of locations around Linglong, that is, a total of around EUR 7.2 million.

The factory, which spreads on an area of 370,000 square meters, started working last year. The net profit of Linglong in Serbia amounted to USD 195.1 million last year, and their operating income was USD 2.8 billion.

Linglong sells tires in over 180 countries, and it has five factories in China and another one in Thailand, and in 2023, it produced 79 million tires. Linglong also has research centers in North America, China and one in Germany, and one such center is being planned in Serbia as well.
