The first flight of Air Serbia was ceremoniously welcomed at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), the second largest in France, which serves over 14 million passengers annually.
– We carefully monitor market developments and listen to passenger needs. When a competitor recently reduced the number of flights between Belgrade and Nice, we recognized there was significant demand and decided to resume the direct service between the two cities after a five-year break. By connecting the Serbian capital with Nice, we have further strengthened Air Serbia's presence in France and provided passengers with the opportunity to reach the beautiful French Riviera in just 120 minutes – said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.
In addition to Paris and Lyon, Nice is the third destination in France to which the Serbian national airline flies from Belgrade.
By reintroducing Nice into its network, Air Serbia offers passengers excellent connectivity via the heart of the French Riviera, via Belgrade, to Larnaca, Istanbul, Ankara, Skopje, Bucharest, Sofia, Tirana, Thessaloniki, Athens, Split, Tivat, Podgorica, Dubrovnik, Budapest, Sarajevo, Vienna, and other cities.
