Minimum wage in Croatia next year EUR 750, in Serbia around EUR 460

In Croatia, from January 1 next year, the gross minimum wage is to increase by around 15 percent, from this year’s EUR 840 to EUR 970, as decided by the Government of Croatia. In the net amount, this means that, for those who work for the minimum wage, from the beginning of 2025, the earnings will increase by around EUR 80, from close to EUR 670 to EUR 750.

The prime minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic, said that, in Croatia at that moment, 100,000 people earned the minimum wage and pointed out that “the government aims to secure a more dignified life for those who have the least,” reports Poslovni dnevnik.


Let us remind that, in 2025, the minimum wage in Serbia will be RSD 53,592, around EUR 457, that is, RSD 308 per hour, and that it will be increased 13.7% from January next year.
