The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, expects big problems with electricity supply in all of Europe, due to which, as he said, he has asked the Hungarian prime minister, Viktor Orban, to consider Serbia’s request to pay the full price for 5 or 10% of ownership in the Paks nuclear power plant in Hungary.

– They have said that they will take our request into consideration – said Vucic.

He also said that Serbia worked on projects of renting storage facilities.

– We are moving toward renting space for gas in Hungary. We have talked about the Pannonian Corridor. We will soon be part of the single electricity exchange with Slovenia and Hungary. To try to work as closely together as possible. We have also talked about military-technical cooperation. The closeness of our armies has to be very pronounced. We are all very worried about the situation in the world. We have also talked about supporting each other in world institutions – said Vucic.
