– The house loan participation money is the problem. People can’t pool together 20%. We will try to have the participation be 3-5% at the most. We will also see how much the state needs to additionally subsidize this – he added.
Vucic also said that there would checks whether there had been changes in the ownership of real estate, so as to avoid the kind of manipulation by which apartments are transferred to other family members.
He also stated that, by January 6, the pensioners would receive the increased pensions and that the law had been changed, so the increase would not only pertain to January, but to December as well. Vucic said that, that way, the pensioners would have an increase a month earlier compared to the employees in the public sector. At a press conference at the Presidency of Serbia, he reminded that, from that day, the pensions were 10.9% higher.
Talking about the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027, he said that plenty of work lay ahead in December, because that was when “plenty of things need to be started and permits need to be obtained,” about which he said that nobody wanted to sign them, allegedly due to the hostility against engineers following the tragedy in Novi Sad.
