Flying from Belgrade to Dubai for EUR 170

Flydubai, the leading low cost airline from Dubai, has launched a direct flight between Belgrade and Dubai. The starting price of a ticket for a Belgrade-Dubai flight is EUR 170, whereas the ticket for a flight from Dubai to Belgrade costs EUR 160.

Flydubai will be operating four flights a week on this route - on Monday, Thursday, Sunday and Saturday.

The first flight took off from Dubai for Nikola Tesla Airport on Monday, at 9.10 AM, landing in Belgrade at 11.55 AM local time.

- The new route will enable UAE’s leisure and business travelers to enjoy and experience the city’s many attractions. We also hope the new flights will help the 5,000-strong Serbian community in Dubai to visit friends and family back home more often - said Al Gaith.

Jelena Marjanovic, assistant to the Minister of Economy of Serbia, pointed out that the direct line was expected to benefit both countries in many ways.

- It is now up to us to discover the business interests of UAE's businessmen - said Ms. Marjanovic.

Jamal Al Hai, ESVP Communications and International Affairs, Dubai Airports and Member of the UAE Parliament, said: “The UAE is always open to new opportunities and from today we can look forward to working more closely with Serbia. This is yet another step towards furthering strong relations between our respective nations."
