Neoplan's new generation of double-decker coaches - Skyliner, which had its world premiere in late October at a specialized fair in Belgium's Kotrijk, will also be presented to people in Serbia between December 6th and 16th.
The importer of vehicles of this famous German company for Serbia, Belgrade-based Sejari, will present Neoplan's latest product, in association with VB Leasing, to bus transportation companies in Priboj, Ivanjica, Cacak, Gornji Milanovac, Krusevac, Negotin, Pozarevac, Sabac, Valjevo, Belgrade, Vrsac, Bela Crkva, Becej, Kikinda, Senta, and Subotica.
Potential buyers in Serbia will be able to see the Skyliner coach presented in Kotrijk, that is, the final version that will enter mass production. Neoplan announces that the average fuel consumption of 30 liters per 100 kilometers and the carbon dioxide emmission of only 12 grams per passenger per kilometer make this coach one of the best in its class.
Skyliner offers top comfort for 70 to 83 passengers, and the list of its technical specialties includes the SkyLight lighting concept, a newly developed dual-zone air-conditioning system, and a comprehensive safety system. Commensurate power is provided by the modern, economical MAN D26 common-rail engine, which delivers 371 kW (505 hp) and a maximum torque of 2,300 Nm at between 1,000 and 1,400 rpm. As standard, power from the Skyliner's engine is transmitted to the rear axle via an automated 12-speed transmission.
