Chinese troupe at Madlenianum on January 30th

The Theater and Opera Troupe of Anhui, China, will perform at Zemun-based Madlenianum Opera and Theatre on January 30th.

This ensemble was formed in 1950. It has toured the world performing attractive dances and singing to the rhythm of drums, thus promoting the cultural heritage of the Chinese province of Anhui.

During an one-hour program at Madlenianum, over 20 performers wearing traditional costumes will perform 13 dance numbers involving very complicated acrobatic moves.
