Bambi buys back its own shares for nearly EUR 1 million
Pozarevac-based Bambi-Banat confectioner has acquired additional 4,713 shares in itself on a pro-rata basis, at the price of RSD 20,500 a piece.
Following the closing of its takeover bid, Bambi holds a 4.4-percent stake in itself. Similar to other companies ran by Salford, Bambi announced several takeover bids last year to acquire shares in itself at the price of 20,000 and 20,500 dinars a piece.
The current price of Bambi shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange is RSD 19,500, so that the market capitalization of this confectioner amounts to RSD 7.5 billion (EUR 70.6 million). Last year Bambi shares gained 17.7 percent in value.
