Holcim approves EUR 10,000 loans to SMEs
The cement factory Holcim Serbia has granted five microloans of EUR 10,000 each to small and medium-sized enterprises that applied for them last year.
All users of these loans are based in Paracin, which was one of conditions, Holcim Communications Director Aleksandar Milosevic told Tanjug news agency Friday.
The loan recipients are enterprises that have been operating successfully over the last two to five years, that employ between two and five workers and had positive balance sheets in the previous two years.
The first loan has been granted to the company Nesa Stream. It is a company engaged in the installation of video surveillance systems and computer equipment.
The applications filed by another two companies are still being processed, and they should get a loan in the first half of March. These are SZTR Dinamik, trader in laminate flooring and other wooden products, and Gala, which is engaged in the production and meat and meat products.
The remaining two companies are waiting to receive the loan.
The loan repayment period is two years, the grace period is six months, while the nominal interest rate amounts to 6 percent on annual basis.
