Playboy bunnies in space
Playboy have teamed up with Richard Branson`s Virgin Galactic in designing a futuristic gentleman`s club that literally is, `out of this world`, Daily Mail reports.
In the March issue of the iconic magazine, readers will be treated to a sci-fi themed depiction of fun and games aboard a space station.
Live Science reports that the imagined super-club features a zero-gravity dance club, a casino featuring `human roulette` and a restaurant for fine dining as just some of the amenities.
- The Playboy Club in space will be on a station in orbit, like a cruise ship. Orbiting Earth is one idea, but it could also travel around other celestial bodies - Playboy writes.
According to that magazine, Playboy bunnies wearing jetpacks would serve the drinks in the zero-gravity dance-club to revellers, whilst amorous couples would be able to gaze down at Earth in between gazing into each other`s eyes. And there are no worries for those wanting to eat in the restaurant, as it would be built into a `spinning section` so as their food, and themselves, wouldn`t fly of in all directions.
Virgin Galactic have long-term plans to become the first passenger service that travels into space and is currently selling tickets at $200,000 for a seat on its first craft the SpaceShipTwo.
Further tests on the spacecraft are planned for later this year as the company investigates how realistic their plans are.
