Petar Skundric, energy adviser to the Prime Minister, announced during a visit to Rome that Serbia would intensify its cooperation with Italy in the energy sector, especially in the field of clean energy.

As Skundric told Beta news agency after a meeting with Italian Minister of Economy Corrado Passera in Rome, which was part of preparations for a joint session of the governments of Serbia and Italy to be held on March 8th in Belgrade, the meeting was the occasion to discuss the intensification of work on energy projects.

This particularly relates to the clean energy project and the improvement of conditions for its implementation, which should contribute to the strengthening of economic relations between Italy and Serbia and rapid inclusion of Serbia into the EU energy market developments through Italy, he said.
