MC Bauchemie to start construction of facility in Sremska Mitrovica in 2012 to produce additives for concrete - Investment worth EUR 8 million

Sremska Mitrovica Mayor Branislav Nedimovic held a meeting yesterday with representatives of Germany's MC Bauchemie, which is engaged in the production of additives for concrete, and the main theme of the meeting was the commencement of a formal procedure for the issuance of a building permit, so that the construction of a factory could commence as early as this year, it was announced on the city's website.
This factory, for which MC Bauchemie bought a 2.5-hectare land lot in 2010, will be built in the work zone Jezero, across the road from Mitrovica-based Matroz. The future production facility will employ about 40 workers, and the construction of a storage space and a laboratory is also in the pipeline.
This investment is worth as much as EUR 8 million, reads the statement on the city's website.
Construction of MC Bauchemie's factory in Sremska Mitrovica, spanning 9,000 square meters, will initiate the production of chemical substances and additives for the construction industry, which will be offered to both Serbian market and foreign countries.
