(Ada Ciganlija)

Ada Ciganlija in Belgrade is again ranked high among the destinations to visit when in Belgrade. According to a poll conducted by the web portal Lonely Planet, Belgrade-based Ada Ciganlija is the first place to visit in the capital city of Serbia. Concretely, the visit to Ada Ciganlija is currently ranked 221st among the total of 51,676 various things to do in Europe that are listed on this website, people at the public company Ada Ciganlija announced.

This web portal describes Ada Ciganlija as a green and sandy island park in the Sava river and Belgrade's summer retreat. It is the place where gentle choices are swimming in the lake, renting a bicycle or just strolling through the woodland. Adrenaline junkies might fancy the bungy jumping or the water-ski tow, while plenty of places overlooking the lake sell restorative cold beers.

– We are proud that Ada Ciganlija is again ranked high among the destinations to visit in Europe. That is, primarily, an acknowledgement of all efforts made by employees at the public company Ada Ciganlija and their contribution to the tourist offer of Belgrade and presentation of the capital city in the best possible way - said Zoran Gajic, director of this public company.

Last year Belgrade-based Ada Ciganlija was declared the third most beautiful city island in the world by the web portal VirtualTourist.com.
