New trade center of Slovenian "Mercator" in Novi Sad should be completed in 2007

Slovenian "Mercator" will open its new trade center on Liman III in Novi Sad during the summer 2007. This was written in the invitation "Mercator" sent to the companies that are interested in renting office space in the future facility.

Let us remind that "Mercator" bought building lot next to the business building of NIS in 2003 for 3m EUR. On that occasion "Mercator" announced quick construction and opening of hypermarket, but that did not happen due to problems with the city authorities. The Slovenians and the authorities of Novi Sad could not reach agreement about the future looks of the facility. Only few months ago, the land-utilization plan that suits both sides was passed, so that it can be expected that the construction of the aforementioned complex will start very soon.

In its invitation, "Mercator" seeks business partners who would fill the trade center with the contents, such as post office, pharmacy, coffee shop, bookstore, toy store, footwear and clothing stores for children and grown-ups, car parts shop, etc.

The offers should be delivered to Belgrade-based office of "Mercator" prior to June 20, 2006.
