Electrawinds soon starts construction of wind farms in Kovacica and Debeljaca - Project worth EUR 350 million

Construction of EUR 350 million worth of wind farms should soon start in the municipality of Kovacica. Namely, the two projects involving the construction of wind farms will be implemented by two companies - Electrawinds from Serbia and Electrawinds-K, which will be registered on the territory of the municipality of Kovacica, it was announced on the municipal website kovacica.org.

These wind farms will be built in cadastral municipalities Kovacica and Debeljaca.

A strategic partnership agreement has recently been signed between the representatives of the municipality of Kovacica and Belgium's Electrawinds - Kovacica Mayor Miroslav Krisan and Electrawinds' Project Manager for Serbia Kurt Derieuw, respectively. On that occasion, Miroslav Krisan pointed out that people from Serbia would be engaged in all phases of the project.

Wind generators should be installed in about two years.
