BNP Paribas conducts sale process for Helios
A consortium of the biggest owners of Slovenia-based Helios has let the French bank BNP Paribas conduct the sale process for that company. A mandate agreement will be signed until Friday.
BNP Paribas will submit a so-called Information Memorandum by early June. After that, non-binding bids will be collected. The most serious investors will then get access to an info room, which is allegedly already being prepared under the leadership of the investment bank Equitygate.
Its representative in Slovenia is Anton Papez. The interest in taking over Helios has already been expressed by PPG from the US, Austria's Ring International holding, Japan's Kansai Paint and India's Asian Paints.
