Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas reelected

Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas was reelected on Wednesday and was supported by 63 councilors.
His second four-year term started yesterday. Djilas was first elected as the mayor on 19 August 2008.
Tatjana Pasic was also reelected as the deputy mayor, while Natasa Milovanovic, Milena Bicanin, Darko Bozic, Vladan Djukic, Zoran Kostic, Marija Lekovic, Natasa Milosevic, Nikola Nikodijevic, Zeljko Ozegovic, Aco Petrovic, Milan Popovic and Slobodan Solevic are new members of the City Council.
By the majority decision of the City Council, Aleksandar Antic was reelected as the president of the Belgrade Assembly and Zoran Alimpic as his deputy. At yesterday's session, Irena Ljubomirovic Ivankovic was appointed as the secretary of the Belgrade Assembly, while city councilors also elected 13 members of the Administrative-Mandate Committee.
