Flydubai to launch flights to Bucharest and Skopje

Bucharest in Romania and Skopje in the Republic of Macedonia (former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) will be flydubai’s latest destinations in Central & Eastern Europe to 15 points across 10 countries, the airline announced in a statement.

The new services will see three weekly flights to Bucharest which will begin on Monday October 1st, 2012 while Skopje will be twice-weekly service commencing on October 18th, 2012.

On that occasion, flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said: “Our base in Dubai provides the sizeable Romanian and Macedonian expatriate populations around the globe with affordable links to their home nations.”

The flights to Bucharest will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. From October 28th, flydubai will increase the frequency of flights to four a week adding a Thursday service.
