SID bank to approve a 28 million euro loan to Gorenje

SID bank has approved a loan totaling 28 million euros to Gorenje on a ten-year basis. The loan was approved in accordance with the technologically-development programs, says SEEbiz.

The President of the Board in Gorenje, Franjo Bobinac and the President of the Board in SID bank, Sibil Svilan, signed the contract on the loan in Velenje.

The President of the Board, Franjo Bobinac has earlier said that none of the staff would loose job and the Supervisory Board and the staff signed the social agreement. In comparison to Velenje, the staff in Asko in Sweden is in an inconvenient situation due to bad business results. Gorenje has announced production moving to Velenje. Thus, their sister company would have 50 out of 500 staff left.
