Intereuropa sells Chekhov logistics center to UniCredit Bank
The company Intereuropa is selling its logistics center Chekhov to UniCredit Bank for EUR 50 million.
This amount is only a third of what Intereuropa invested in that project (EUR 144 million). Intereuropa has been looking for a buyer for its Moscow-based investment since summer 2009.
Unofficially, Intereuropa's creditor banks have agreed to convert their EUR 20 million worth of loans to the company's capital.
Allegedly, NLB, Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor and SID Banka want to convert their EUR 10 million loans to preferential shares.
The same amount of loans should also be converted by UniCredit, Gorenjska Banka, Raiffeisen, SKB Banka and Banka Koper, the Ljubljana Dnevnik daily writes.
