Metro Cash&Carry opened in Pozarevac - Investment worth EUR 400,000, 15 new jobs

Metro Cash&Carry Serbia, the largest wholesale company in the country, has opened a distribution center in Pozarevac, which is the tenth facility of this chain in Serbia.

This Metro Po Meri distribution center is primarily intended for buyers engaged in trade and catering. The facility in Pozarevac features 2,000 square meters of retail space, where buyers can choose from 3,500 articles, most of which are food products.

METRO invested EUR 400,000 in its distribution center in Pozarevac.

Veronika Puncheva, director general of Metro Cash&Carry Serbia, and Pozarevac Mayor Miomir Ilic ceremoniously opened the new wholesale center in the presence of representatives of the company, local authorities, business partners and the media.

In cooperation with the National Employment Agency, 15 workers have got a job at the newly opened distribution center after they completed a specialist training at the company Metro.
