DB Schenker Logistics opens new office in Sochi
ZAO Schenker, DB Schenker's national organization in Russia, has launched a new office in Sochi due to a high level of business activity in the region caused by ongoing preparations for the upcoming Olympic Games in 2014, the company said in a release.
- This new branch will allow us to support businesses of our global and local customers, who have projects linked to the games in 2014 and coming events in the newly constructed sports and events cluster in Sochi - said Anatoly Gvozdev, Managing Director, ZAO Schenker.
The Sochi branch will provide services for clients mostly focused on sports events logistics: consulting, logistics project management; road, rail, air and ocean freight to and from Sochi; customs clearance (including temporary import, ATA Carnet, etc.); provision of handling equipment, etc.
