Sabac gets water treatment plant worth EUR 18.13 million - Agreement signed with contractor

Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Adriano Martins and Markus Popke, representatives of the consortium Hochtief Solutions & Gemax, signed Monday (8 October 2012) an agreement for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Sabac, reads a release published at the city's official website.
The EU has donated EUR 10 million for construction works and technical assistance in the implementation of this part of the project worth a total of EUR 18.13 million. Aside from the EU, the money for this project has also been provided by the Ministry of Forestry and Agriculture, former Ministry for NIP and the City of Sabac.
The agreement signing ceremony in the City Hall was preceded by a meeting between Sabac Mayor Milos Milosevic and the representatives of the EU delegation and the contractor, after which they visited the location of the future plant in the city industrial zone next to the Sava river.
