Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection Zorana Mihajlovic has said that members of the Energy Community of Southeast Europe adopted a regional energy strategy on Thursday.
Mihajlovic explained that the framework of the energy strategy had been adopted, adding that all suggestions to improve that document were welcome.
She pointed out that conference participants adopted a decision on the application of directives on statistics in energy sector, oil and oil products and greater use of renewable energy sources.
The Minister said that our country would have to increase the share of renewable energy in total energy consumption from 21.2% to 27% by 2020.
She added that she also had had bilateral meetings with the relevant ministers of Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, explaining that they had agreed to intensify relations because energy cooperation between states was very important.
