The company SBB, the largest cable operator in Serbia, started providing fixed telephony services on Monday.

SBB representatives said at a press conference that the monthly subscription fee for fixed telephony services would amount to RSD 390, stressing that call rates were very low, especially for international calls.

SBB Corporate Communications Director Jovana Lukic said that the subscription included free unlimited calls to the SBB network, 100 minutes of free calls to all landline networks in Serbia and a number of free advanced calling features.

According to Lukic, calls to landlines in Serbia other than those in the SBB network cost RSD 1 per minute, while calls to mobiles are charged RSD 9 per minute.

As she pointed out, the users who take the Trio Mix package will get another 100 minutes of calls for free.

SBB CEO Dragica Pilipovic Chaffey reminded that about 700,000 households in Serbia were using the services of that cable television and internet operator, stressing that SBB and its subsidiaries operated in all countries of former Yugoslavia.

She noted that SBB had invested EUR 23 million in development projects in 2012.
