In cooperation with the Ecovis Confidas group, Austria's Bena opened its first business center in the region in Usce Business Center in Belgrade on Thursday night.
Bena, which is famous in Austria as a market leader for business centers, currently has more than 1,000 clients, and this facility in Belgrade is its first investment in southeast Europe.
Bena is engaged in office space lease. Its prospective clients are companies from abroad, Serbia and the region that are not yet physically present in Belgrade as the business center of the region.
That means that companies from abroad, for example, can rent a 10 sqm office space and get a business address in Belgrade. Bena also offers such companies assistance in secretarial works.
People at Beta point out that this is an ideal solution for efficient management of business activities of such companies Serbia, which also includes a first-class space for business meetings or conferences placed at their disposal once they arrive in Belgrade.
Alexander Varendorf, director general of Bena, said at the opening ceremony that the previous experience had showed that such centers attract the most interest from medium-sized companies.
Varendorf said that they had been considering several countries before choosing Serbia, which they selected because they believed in the potential of our market.
Alexander Samonig, the CEO of Ecovis Confidas in Serbia, which is a member of the international Ecovis group, said at the opening ceremony that that innovative business concept would definitely attract many other international companies to Serbia through SEE Business Embassies, meaning that that partnership would indirectly bring new jobs to our country.
As Mr. Samoing told our web portal, the crisis had no effect on their decision to come to Serbia.
- The media in Austria recently reported and Austria lacked 4,000 IT engineers. Serbia, on the other hand, has so many unemployed people. Why wouldn't these people from Belgrade work for Austria companies, for example. That is where I see a chance for our business. You don't have to be physically present anymore to be able to do most jobs – Samoing explained to eKapija.
