Celebration of 100th anniversary of tourism on Tara mountain, construction of ethnic settlement and commemorative complex
On the occasion of 100th anniversary of the tourism on Tara mountain, the Minister of Culture and Media Dragan Kojadinović announced construction of ethnic settlement, as well as appropriate commemorative complex. Their places in the aforementioned commemorative complex will find writer Milovan Glišić, who spent some time on Tara mountain in 1905 treating his ill lungs, Josif Pančić, who found the only world-known natural residence of spruce, and King Dragutin, who had Rača monastery built on the hillsides of Tara mountain in the 13th century.
