The Privatization Agency has invited interested prospective buyers to submit their bids for the movable property of Viskoza's subsidiaries Svila and Hemiremont in Loznica until January 15th.

The estimated value of Svila's property is RSD 56.1 million, with the required deposit set at RSD 11.22 million. The value of Hemiremont's property is estimated at RSD 4.98 million, whereas the deposit to be paid by interested bidders is set at RSD 992,000, reads a statement at the Agency's website (www.priv.rs).

Bids can be submitted by all companies that buy a documentation worth RSD 15,000 plus VAT and pay the required deposit by January 8th.

According to the invitation, a sales agreement will be signed within three days of the selection of the most successful bidder.

Production at the main unit of the chemical plant Viskoza was halted in February 2005. In February 2007, the Privatization Agency sold three subsidiaries of Viskoza at an auction - Energetika, Hortikultura, and Lofolen.

After two unsuccessful auctions for the sale of Viskoza's ten remaining subsidiaries, the entire plant with all its enterprises declared bankruptcy in June 2009.

In the meantime, on February 25th and April 15th last year, the Agency tried to sell the rest of Viskoza's property, estimated at RSD 1.2 billion, but there were no interested prospective buyers.
