David Banjai to receive Business Person of the Year award

A jury of the Club of Business Journalists has made an unanimous decision to present the Business Person of the Year award to David Banjai, director of Ball Packaging Europe Belgrade, whereas the Gold Medal for Sustainable Domestic Production will go to Impol-Seval and its manager Ninko Tesic, the Club of Business Journalists said in a release.
The Investment of the Year award will be presented to Kostolac Steam Power Plant, that is, its CEO Dragan Jovanovic, while Carlsberg will receive an award for restructuring the company for the sake of reducing costs. Young Manager of the Year is Sasa Pozder, director of Maquet South East Europe.
Among those who will receive Manager of the Year awards are: Rodoljub Milosevic from Flory (for the production of of organic baby food), professor Dr. Aleksandar Rodic from the Department of Robotics at Mihajlo Pupin Institute (for developing and applying science), Miodrag Zdravkovic from the association Leskovacki Ajvar (for promoting women's entrepreneurship), Milomir Tosovic from Kotlenik Promet (for investing in cattle breeding), Bozidar Aleksandrovic from Aleksandrovic Wine Cellar (for developing viticulture), Dragan Kuzmanovic from Domis (for investing in energy efficiency projects) and Milinko Cicmil from Vrdnik-based Premier Aqua Hotel (for investing in tourism), and Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra Director Ivan Tasovac (for promoting classical music).
Gordana Divnic, a journalist of Tanjug news agency, will receive the Zlatno Pero award, which is traditionally presented to the best business journalist.
The awards ceremony will be held 4 February 2013 on the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
