Who is going to build oil refinery in Smederevo? - Presentation of two multinationals on January 25th

Comico Oil's investment, that is, construction of a modern oil refinery in Smederevo, is taking its course after the signing of a settlement agreement with the City Assembly, and the competent authorities of its parent company Comico Overseas are expected to soon sign the required acts in order to release money for the land where the refinery is going to be built, Radomir Radivojevic, representative of Comico Oil Serbia, told Danas.

According to him, the US company Comico Overseas will have a General Meeting on January 25th, after which all shareholders of Comico Overseas will be officially presented to the public in Serbia.

- The shareholders of Comico Overseas who have not yet been presented to people in Serbia for obvious reasons, mainly because they did not want to let the media in Serbia play with their names in the same way they had played with the name of Comico Oil until the agreement was reached, will be presented at the General Meeting. These shareholders are two very important names at a global level, one of which is a banking institution and the other is a private investor whose company is one of the ten largest in the world - Radivojevic explained.

He added that the rent for the land where the refinery would be built was expected to be paid immediately after the General Meeting.
