Amkodor from Belarus interested in buying IMK 14.oktobar and part of Prva Petoletka

Representatives of the Belarus company Amkodor are ready to participate in the privatization of several companies in Serbia, including Krusevac-based IMK 14.oktobar, Chairman of the Amkodor Board of Directors Aleksandar Sakutin told the press yesterday.

- The company IMK 14.oktobar today needs a serious financial injection in order to reach the world level in terms of technologies and ready-made products. When it comes to manpower, it is highly qualified in Serbia - Sakutin said after a meeting with the management of IMK 14.oktobar and the representatives of the local self-government.

This company from Belarus has a product portfolio that is compatible with the one of IMK 14. oktobar.

Sakutin added that Amkodor was ready to transfer its experience and knowledge to the companies it would like to buy.

This company is also interested in acquiring Prva Petoletka's subsidiaries Servoupravljaci, Cilindri and Hidraulika.

The Amkodor holding produces construction machines, snow clearing vehicles, specialized machinery for agriculture, lumber industry, etc.
