World Tourism Organization in Belgrade between May 27 and 29
A session of the Executive Council of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will be held between May 27 and 29 in Belgrade, it was agreed Friday in Madrid.
An agreement to organize that event has been signed by the state secretary general of the Serbian Finance and Economy Ministry, Goran Petkovic, and the secretary of the World Tourism Organization, Taleb Rifaij.
As Petkovic pointed out, it is a great success for Serbia's tourism and Serbia, which is able, as a member of the UNWTO, to affect the directions of development and promotion on the international tourism stage as well as to follow global tourist trends.
The agreement was signed as part of the International Tourism Fair Fitur, which is held between January 30 and February 3 in Madrid.
