SEKULOVIĆ: Serbia needs bigger number of guarantee organizations
- Serbia needs bigger number of organizations that will approve guarantees to small and mid-sized enterprises for the purpose of the credit approval, because the Guarantee Fund has never lived up to its expectations - said the State Secretary for International Economic Relations Vlatko Sekulović.
At the round table whose topic were guarantees for development of small and mid-sized enterprises, which was organized by Italian region of Abruzzo, he said that Serbia needed the entire network of such institutions that should be financed by municipalities, regions and central Government and that Italian experience was very precious in that regard.
The representative of Italian "Finesta", Franko del Neri, said on that occasion that it was necessary to change the regulations that would then allow different kinds of the guarantee funds, adding that such funds in Italy were founded by the business organizations.
