Germany's MC Bauchemia to open factory in Sremska Mitrovica by 2015

Germany`s MC Bauchemia is going to invest few million euros in the construction of a factory for producing concrete additives in Sremska Mitrovica, which will serve as a supply center for the Balkans, MC Bauhemia Regional Manager Albert Urkom announced today in Subotica.

As he told the representatives of the construction industry at a seminar held at the Subotica Regional Chamber of Commerce, a land for this factory, spanning about 10,000 square meters, was bought a year and a half ago and now the process of collecting required permits is underway.

- This factory will be part of our Chemicals Constructions division, and it will be producing additives that improve the characteristics of concrete during the process of its production, after which the production is expected to be upgraded - said Urkom.

Representatives of this company expect the factory to be put into operation in 2015 and to hire 50 workers by 2018.

MC Bauchemia has over 1,900 employees in more than 30 countries, and it operates in Serbia since 2006.
