Lamps from Serbia in the Near East - Buck to decide on location for its new branch office by summer
Buck will make a decision by the summer at the latest on where in the Near East to open its branch office, Buck's founder and president, Darko Budec, announced.
- We've been checking the situation for a year and paid a visit to several countries. We must take it slow because it is a demanding market and, therefore, the entrance threshold must be thoroughly examined - Budec told the press conference at the Tanjug press center at Mount Kopaonik.
Two countries are shortlisted, he said and added that one of them was deemed an attractive destination, while the other country was very rich.
As he noted, the first serious results of the opening of branch offices in the Near East and Europe will be seen in five to seven years, and the aim is that the products of this company, which is engaged in industrial design and lamp manufacture, become a global brand.
Budec, who was declared the entrepreneur of the year in Serbia by the international audit and consulting company Ernst&Young late last year, will take part in the world competition in Monte Carlo in June.
